Shivaram Kumar - Kumar Holiday Cheer Always!

We are all connected. Sometimes by bold lines, sometimes dotted. The whole world is made up of circle and lines.
We are connected through dreams. Like a pebble on the water, we start a ripple with our dream. We encourage others to throw in their dreams into the vast ocean of unlimited possibilities and create a kaleidoscope of never ending ripples.
We are connected through friendships and relationships, the invisible lines that have the most meaning. A reminder that our real legacy is not money, it is people.
We are connected through love, hope and faith. These make up the stuff that fuel our dreams and relationships.
We are connected through gratitude, which opens up our worlds to unlimited blessings.
Wishing you great health, peace of mind, meaningful & lasting relationships, plenty of joy & laughter, momentum in all things, and all your dreams come true!
-Kumar, Anjali, Devika, Tarika, Ritika

BWW / Amway Shivaram Kumar

I love seeing other people confirm what we’ve always taught: the way to achieve a big goal is to achieve a series of smaller goals. Each step brings you closer to your ultimate goal, and you gain confidence each step of the way.
“Every day should be filled with important, attainable goals. For example, one goal could be as simple as committing to reaching out to one new prospect each work day. Over the course of the year, this could add up to over 200 contacts.”

BWW / Amway Shivaram Kumar and Anjali

“Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.” – Tony Robbins

Kumar and Anjali grew up in Mumbai, India, just a few miles apart, but they did not meet until they moved to the United States. They arrived in the U.S. in the same year, Kumar to pursue his master’s degree in computer engineering, and Anjali to attend her sister’s wedding. Kumar found a job as a computer consultant, and Anjali stayed on to develop a career in the travel field. “We were totally oblivious to what lay ahead,” says Kumar, “But, here I was, only a couple of years into my career, picking up major momentum in my on software consulting business, and already in the top 5% income bracket in the U.S. And there she was, furthering her career as a travel consultant, when Manipal Reddy appeared in my life to talk about a part-time business opportunity…”
Kumar did not even see this as a business at first; he was just interested in the health insurance offered to IBOs. Kumar signed up, but did not do much with the business for several months. Little did he know, that not only would his attitude change from mild interest, to skepticism, to curiosity, to excitement, to total commitment, but that his dreams would upgrade from health insurance to include supporting his family back in India, a better living standard, and complete financial freedom (June 17,1994).  ”My little ’yes’ to Manipal gave me all that! But the best gift I got is my wife, Anjali.” Kumar sponsored Anjali’s sister and brother-in-law, Ajay and Alka Ohri, now Diamonds, who in turn sponsored Anjali. “Kumar was already an Emerald when we got married,” says Anjali, “but thanks to the Britt support system and the mentorship of our upline, I was able to come up to speed quickly. Within six months of getting married, I quit my job. Six months later, Kumar became a free man. We worked hard, and within a year, we went Diamond.” Today, they live in a beautiful 7500-square-foot home in New Jersey, a far cry from the condo where Kumar was living when they got married. They have also been blessed with three adorable daughters. “What is most important to us,” adds Anjali, “is the security and peace of mind this business provides, and the time with our girls. We wanted them to attend private schools, which is what they do now.”

“We grew up with a very strong value system,” says Kumar. “Prior to this business, we felt that we had to choose between a jet-set life in the U.S. and some of those values. Now, we believe that the Britt system actually allows us to enhance these values and live them, and at the same time, enjoy the number-one lifestyle in the world! You can have your cake and eat it, too! So, why not?!” Kumar and Anjali have an organization of leaders all over the United States and Canada, and have a huge organization in India. Kumar declares, “To earn and keep the respect of Anjali and the kids, our sponsors, our upline EDCs Kanti and Lata, all the way to Bill and Peggy Britt and the Britt Diamond team – that is everything to me!”

Kumar went Emerald as as single in 1993; then married Anjali and was the first Indian to qualify Diamond(1995) in the BWW system. They went Founders EDC in 2002. The Kumar’s qualified Double Diamond(USA) in 2005 with their 12th qualifying leg(in India) being Kumar’s Mom & Dad. The Kumars qualified Diamond in India during 2004 and have huge business in Singapore, UK and Australia. Most of their close family members are building the business. Alka(Anjali’s Sister) & Ajay Ohri are Diamonds in the USA. Shanta(Kumar’s oldest sister) and her husband Narasimhan are founders Platinum in Mumbai, India. Shamala(Kumar’s other older sister) and her husband Subramanian are Emerralds in Chennai, India. Kumar’s cousin Shankar and Sangeeta Devraj and Dr. Ram & Usha, his uncle and aunt are both founders Emeralds in Mumbai, India. India Achievers trips to Malaysia, Australia and Switzerland have all been family reunion events for the kumar family.
